When I first started playing around with websites, I remember Googling HTML or CSS, tweaking the code a bit, and getting such a thrill seeing it actually work. I was always good at math, so working with code logic came naturally. I soon realized I had an eye for design, so I knew if I could put the two together I could have something special.

The unfortunate reality when hiring someone or a company to build your website is oftentimes corners are cut depending on what their strengths and weaknesses are.

It might be a beautiful looking site, but was page speed considered in development? The site looks and functions great, but was keyword meta data inputted for search engines to index it correctly? Was a good plugin researched or did the developer choose the first one they saw which may not have been updated in years and could be vulnerable to a hack?

These are issues I see time and time again, oftentimes with the client not even being aware of it.

I started Maguire Web Solutions to give client’s peace of mind that things will be done right- the first time. Technology & design is not just a job for me, it’s a way of life.
